The Story Behind Simply Soft
When my baby was born, I realized something simple but frustrating , it was so hard to find clothes that were actually soft on newborn skin.
Everything looked cute, but when I touched the fabric, it didn’t feel gentle enough for a tiny baby.
Growing up in India, I had seen something beautiful : Newborns wrapped in a grandmother’s old saree.
Not because it was fancy ,but because after years of washing and wearing, that saree became the softest thing in the house.
That was the fabric families trusted for the first days of a baby’s life.
One day, while watching my mother do the same for my baby, a thought clicked :
Why don’t babies get clothes this soft from the very beginning ?
That question became the start of Simply Soft.
I began searching for fabrics that felt as gentle as that old saree , breathable, natural, and safe for delicate skin.
I chose skin-friendly cotton, brought in certified organic cotton for many pieces, and
removed everything that could irritate a baby… even those tiny tags at the neck.
Slowly, piece by piece, Simply Soft grew from a personal struggle into a promise :
Softness should never be a luxury.
Every baby deserves comfort from day one.

We use certified organic cotton for many of our baby essentials. It’s grown without harmful chemicals, making it safer for delicate skin. Organic cotton also feels naturally soft, breathable, and gentle , perfect for newborns who need comfort all day long.
🧸 Interlock Cotton
Our gift-box pieces are made with 100% interlock cotton , a smoother double-knit fabric. It’s soft, stretchy, and keeps its shape even after many washes. Interlock feels cozy without being heavy, making it perfect for daily wear, naps, and playtime.
✨ Combed Cotton
All our customised T-shirts use 100% combed cotton, a premium fabric made by removing short, rough fibers. What remains is long, smooth fibers that feel softer and stronger. Combed cotton gives a clean look, stays comfortable on the skin, and makes prints last longer.
